Full-Time Our client, a well-established and growing wealth advisory practice, is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join its team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This is a compelling opportunity for a proven advisor who wants to plug into an existing and sizeable client base, leverage strong internal support, and focus on uncovering new opportunities within a warm book of business. It may also appeal to an advisor with an existing block of business who is open to monetizing their current practice and merging into a larger platform with the infrastructure, support, and growth opportunities to take their earnings to the next level. With support already in place locally and through head office, this role is designed for an advisor who excels at relationship management, business development, and identifying opportunities across insurance and wealth solutions. The Opportunity This role is best suited to an experienced advisor who has built strong client relationships and knows how to identify opportunities within an existing book, but would benefit from access to a broader client base, additional support, and a stronger platform around them. Rather than starting from scratch, the successful candidate will have the ability to work with an established client base, deepen relationships, uncover unmet needs, and grow revenue through proactive advice and solution-based planning. For the right individual, there may also be an opportunity to bring over and monetize an existing block of business while integrating into a larger, well-supported practice. Key Responsibilities Build, manage, and deepen relationships with existing clients through proactive advice and service Identify new planning, insurance, and wealth opportunities within an established client base Conduct discovery meetings and needs-based conversations to uncover opportunities and deliver tailored solutions Grow revenue through cross-selling, referrals, and strategic relationship management Provide a high standard of client service while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through Collaborate with internal support staff and leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience Maintain compliant documentation and stay current on licensing and industry requirements Contribute to the continued growth of the Fredericton practice and broader business What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or a related advisory role 10+ years is strongly preferred LLQP licence is mandatory Mutual Funds licence is considered a strong asset Demonstrated success in a client-facing advisory and business development role Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities Proven relationship management skills and a consultative approach with clients High attention to detail, professionalism, and follow-through A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well within a broader support structure Existing book of business is welcome, but not required Compensation Compensation will be structured based on the experience, profile, and production capability of the successful candidate. The package is expected to include a combination of: Base salary Commission-based compensation tied to production Performance-based bonus opportunities For candidates with an existing book of business, there may also be flexibility around a transition structure that supports the integration and monetization of an existing client block.
