Are you an experienced credit professional who thrives on managing risk, solving complex challenges, and building strong business partnerships? Join our Treasury & Credit team and play a key role in strengthening credit practices, supporting informed decision-making, and balancing organizational growth with effective risk management. If you enjoy leading teams, analyzing financial risk, and making a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate vendor and customer creditworthiness through financial statement analysis, industry research, and security recommendations.

  • Develop and maintain corporate credit policies while partnering with internal teams to support business growth and minimize risk.

  • Monitor credit portfolio performance, analyze risk exposure, and provide reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on complex credit matters, including collections, insolvencies, bankruptcies, and credit policy guidance.

Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will lead the Credit team, including the Credit Supervisor and Collection Supervisor, while partnering closely with Treasury, Finance, Legal, commodity groups, and business leaders across FCL and the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury & Credit, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support sound credit decisions, mitigate organizational risk, and enable business growth.

Why it matters: We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development.

  • Have 8+ years of progressive experience in credit, finance, or accounts receivable, including 5+ years in credit analysis/collections and 3+ years leading teams.
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • An Accounting designation required. A CCP (Certified Credit Professional) designation would be considered an asset.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salaries, short-term incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.

  • Encouragement to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop as a Team Member.
