About the role
The Global Finance & Operations Specialist supports the financial management and operational efficiency of Ribbon’s global real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for tracking and analyzing facilities budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), managing financial reporting and accruals, and partnering cross-functionally to support projects, cost optimization, and global planning initiatives across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Budget & Financial Management
Plan, track, and analyze OPEX and CAPEX budgets across multiple global locations Maintain and enhance financial tracking tools, including accruals, landlord costs, restructuring, and sublease tracking Review and approve invoices and ensure timely processing of purchase requisitions Perform detailed expense analysis and identify cost optimization opportunities Support annual and quarterly budget planning cycles, including global initiatives (e.g., annual operating plan, long-range planning) Ensure accuracy and alignment of financial data with approved budgets and forecasts
Projects & Strategic Initiatives
Own financial tracking, reporting, and budget adherence for facilities-related projects Support execution of infrastructure upgrades, site improvements, and real estate activities Partner with cross-functional teams on global initiatives, including cost analysis and restructuring efforts Monitor project spend and ensure alignment with approved financial plans
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Partner closely with Global Real Estate & Facilities, Finance, and Procurement teams Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and landlords to ensure accurate financial management and cost control Support internal stakeholders across global Ribbon sites
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or related analytical roles Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field required. Experience managing and tracking OPEX and CAPEX budgets Strong financial analysis and reporting skills Strong Excel skills Experience working with financial systems, procurement tools, or ERP platforms preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent collaboration and communication skills across global teams
The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in all geographic locations is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills and education. The compensation package also includes eligibility for an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits, subject to applicable requirements.
