Main purpose of the Role: The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for financial and operational reporting, regulatory compliance, and reporting accuracy. This role requires strong technical skills in SQL, Oracle, ERP systems, and proficiency in web reporting technologies including Power BI and Prophix for budgeting and forecasting. The analyst will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to maintain data integrity, streamline reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Ensure systems are designed and tested to support accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting Design, build, and maintain custom financial reports and dashboards using ERP systems, Power BI, Prophix, and be nimble with other modern web technologies like Microsoft Static Web Apps. Utilize SQL and other data languages to extract, manipulate, and validate data on modern data platforms such as Databricks. Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to optimize reporting processes and system efficiency. Assist in implementing best practices for data governance and reporting standards. Develop, deploy, and support analytics solutions and lead end-user training to drive adoption across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT related field. 4–7 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, pipeline development, and compliance. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis is required; experience with Python and Databricks is an asset. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CMiC) and integration with modern reporting platforms. Advanced Power BI skills are required; experience with Prophix or other modern web application technologies (e.g., Microsoft Static Web Apps) is an asset. Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and some familiarity with security best practices (ISO 27001) is an asset. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ­ #WCORP
