Alpine Macro is seeking a Research Analyst to join our growing team in Montreal. The Analyst will assist in the research, development, and production of Alpine Macro's global investment research. Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct in-depth economic and investment research and analysis. • Collaborate with the research team on idea generation. • Provide creative and strategic input into publication content. • Keep abreast of market and industry news. • Analyze and manage financial data. • Research and produce charts. • Work closely with layout & design team in publishing process. • Assist in proofreading publication prior to release. • Monitor key developments in assigned markets. • Assist in the development and maintenance of chart databases. • Assist with special projects and other initiatives, as required. Qualifications and Skills • Preferably 3-5 years relevant experience in the financial services industry. • Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Finance. CFA is an asset. • Superior quantitative and analytical skills • Strong attention to detail. • Self-motivated, organized, and strong team player. • Proficiency in financial applications for data analysis (e.g., Bloomberg, DataStream, eViews, Macrobond).
