Position: Senior Business Systems Analyst (Insurance / Wealth Management) Location: Hybrid- Toronto, ON Job type: Full-Time/Permanent Hiring
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in Canadian Insurance and/or Wealth Management to bridge business and technology teams, gather and document requirements, and support digital, regulatory, and enterprise transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, system, and data requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver enterprise solutions. Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, SIT/UAT, defect management, and release activities. Perform data analysis, SQL queries, process mapping, and API/system integration analysis. Ensure solutions align with Canadian Insurance, Wealth Management, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills (Must Have) 7+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience Canadian Insurance and/or Wealth Management Requirements Gathering & Documentation Agile (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) SQL, Data Analysis & Data Mapping API & System Integration Process Mapping (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN) Strong Stakeholder Management & Communication Preferred Skills Group Benefits, Claims, Life Insurance Investment Products, RRSP, TFSA Portfolio Management, Client Onboarding OSFI, CIRO, FINTRAC, AML/KYC CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, SAFe, CSC, IFIC
