Role Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Financial and Corporate Services, the Executive Director Enterprise Performance provides strategic leadership for Alberta Infrastructure’s performance measurement, strategic planning, results reporting, project controls and standards, and enterprise data science function. This role integrates four teams: Performance Management and Integration, Strategic Planning and Reporting, Project Excellence, and Enterprise Solutions. The Executive Director provides enterprise leadership in performance analytics, project controls, and data science, leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to inform financial and business decisions, strengthen performance measurement, and support stewardship of Alberta's capital investments. As the Executive Director, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of performance measurement frameworks and key performance indicators. You will direct strategic planning and results reporting to ensure accountability requirements are met. You will work collaboratively with Financial Services to align performance analytics, project controls, and enterprise reporting with financial planning and forecasting processes, supporting effective stewardship and oversight of Alberta Infrastructure's capital investments. You will establish and lead a project management centre of excellence, setting standards and employing predictive analytics to support accurate capital project delivery and performance benchmarking. In this role, you will oversee enterprise solutions and data analytics, maintaining a robust data infrastructure with responsible AI governance. Furthermore, you will provide executive counsel and foster leadership capacity, innovation, and data literacy across multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications Significant senior-level management experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and multidisciplinary teams, particularly those with data science, analytics, and technology capabilities. Expertise in leveraging enterprise information systems, advanced analytics, and the responsible application of artificial intelligence to inform strategic and business decision-making is essential. You must bring a comprehensive understanding of corporate performance measurement, strategic planning, results reporting, and the use of financial and operational analytics to support effective stewardship of public resources and government investments. Knowledge of leading practices in project controls, portfolio performance management, and predictive analytics is required. You will demonstrate strong political acumen, the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and a proven track record of fostering a resilient, collaborative culture focused on innovation and data literacy. A university degree in a related discipline, such as Business or Science is required. Salary $5,896.65 - $7,749.28 bi-weekly ($153,902.57 - $202,256.21 annually) Notes Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.
