DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a Corporate Affairs & Compliance technology team within a banking environment. This role is primarily focused on hands on development, application enhancements, and cloud migration initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and support of enterprise applications, participate in cloud data platform migration efforts, and help modernize existing business systems. This is a senior level position requiring a strong full stack developer who can independently manage work assignments, collaborate with business stakeholders, solve complex technical problems, and provide guidance to junior developers while working within an established application landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular, Oracle, and PL/SQL • Work directly with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide development estimates • Implement application enhancements and new business functionality • Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives • Develop and maintain Oracle database objects, queries, and stored procedures • Support Snowflake related development and migration activities • Perform unit testing and create technical documentation • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and ensure application quality • Support application deployments through established CI/CD pipelines • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers • Participate in technology evaluations and recommend improvements where appropriate
REQUIREMENTS • 5+ years of professional software development experience with exposure to the full project lifecycle from design through production support • Strong hands on experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core • Strong frontend development experience with Angular • Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL • Experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise business applications • Experience working in Agile development environments • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, testing, and application support • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions • Experience with CI/CD deployment processes • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment • Computer Science, Engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience
NICE TO HAVE • Snowflake experience • Microsoft Power Platform experience • Power Apps development experience • Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives • Banking or financial services industry experience • Experience mentoring junior developers • Exposure to compliance, governance, or corporate business functions
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT • Role supports a Corporate Affairs & Compliance technology team • Position is a backfill for an existing Senior Developer • Focus is primarily on hands on development rather than technical leadership • Team consists of Developers, QA resources, and Business Analysts • Candidate will be involved in both application enhancements and cloud migration projects • Oracle experience is considered a core requirement • Snowflake is currently being adopted and is considered a strong asset • Power Platform experience is preferred but can be learned by a strong candidate • One virtual interview with the hiring manager and a potential second in person meeting if required • No formal technical assessment • Contract has strong potential for extension into 2027 pending budget approval
