About the role

Our client located in downtown Toronto is looking for a Bilingual Procurement Specialist to add to their team.

Oversee the complete lifecycle of commercial agreements, managing everything from initial intake and stakeholder reviews to final execution, amendments, renewals, or terminations. Guide vendor onboarding workflows, ensuring thorough due diligence across legal, risk, privacy, and information security standards. Coordinate purchase orders, requisitions, and procurement workflows utilizing Coupa, ensuring strict alignment with corporate policies and delegated budgets. Review, reconcile, and validate vendor invoices against active contracts and statements of work, partnering directly with Finance to resolve any discrepancies. Track procurement activity, contract spend, and operational metrics to generate comprehensive pipeline, cycle time, and compliance reports. Act as the central point of contact for external vendors and internal business stakeholders regarding contracting procedures, notice periods, and administrative inquiries. Support continuous improvement and framework updates for contract templates, procurement workflows, internal audits, and operational controls.

Qualifications:

Fluently bilingual in both French and English, written and verbal. 5 to 8+ years of deep experience in contract administration, corporate procurement, vendor management, or legal operations. Proven professional background working within a professional services firm, legal department, corporate headquarters, or highly regulated business environment. Strong hands-on proficiency with modern enterprise procurement systems (direct experience with Coupa is highly preferred). Exceptional project tracking skills with the proven ability to monitor renewal calendars, notice periods, and complex contractual obligations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation support skills, with a proven ability to seamlessly move requests through formal corporate approval channels.
