Title: Manager, Funding Arrangement Development (Internal Only)

Salary: $99,469 - $107,543 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (core hours 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday)

Location: Park Royal or Alberni (Metro Vancouver) located on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

About The Role

As Manager of Funding Arrangements Development, you will provide end-to-end support to the Director regarding the development of Funding Arrangements with First Nations communities and organizations in BC. This includes resource planning & allocation, defining standard operating procedures and guidelines, Agreement development and implementation with appropriate and adequate communication tools for program and administrative teams. This includes ensuring compliance with the legal and FNHA policy framework, highlighting potential risks, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will provide leadership and a full range of operational oversight to the Funding Arrangements Development team and support the effective delivery of Funding Arrangement operations. This position reports to the Director of Funding Arrangements.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have –

Education

A University Degree in Business or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Experience

Relevant, recent and significant experience in: Advising First Nations communities in managing sensitive and complex Funding Arrangements, Leading teams in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; Managing competing priorities and demands to meet deadlines and resolve issues in a timely manner; Use of analytic tools and funding management system and, Building and maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships. Experience in managing funding arrangements within First Nations communities/organizations is an asset

Knowledge

Knowledge of general accounting theories and principles Knowledge of general financial operating processes, methods, procedures and controls associated with verification and audit

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
