Job Description What is the opportunity? Houseful is transforming how Canadians navigate one of life's most important decisions: buying a home. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to be a key thought partner to the leadership team. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A, combining financial rigor, business strategy, and analytical problem-solving to help Houseful identify growth opportunities, evaluate investments, optimize resource allocation, and accelerate learning. You will help shape where we place our bets, measure what matters, and ensure capital is deployed against the highest-impact opportunities for customers and the business. What will you do? Partner with leadership to evaluate strategic opportunities, customer segments, growth initiatives, and investment decisions through financial and business analysis Develop business cases, forecasts, scenario models, and resource allocation recommendations to support organizational priorities Monitor, develop, and assess key business, customer, and financial performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities Lead monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive reporting, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations Build and maintain financial, operational, and customer economics models to support planning and decision making Conduct ROI analyses on marketing investments, product initiatives, and other strategic projects Explain actual results, variances, and performance drivers while supporting forecast and plan preparation Perform complex analyses using large datasets to uncover patterns, insights, and opportunities for business improvement What do you need to succeed? Must have: CPA, CFA, or equivalent experience, with 5–8 years in strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, or related fields Strong experience developing financial models, business cases, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support decision making Demonstrated ability to translate data and financial insights into strategic recommendations for senior leaders Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering executive-level presentations and reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to draw insights from large and complex datasets Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools Nice to have: Experience working in a high-growth technology, fintech, proptech, marketplace, or consumer digital business Experience supporting strategic planning, investment prioritization, or business transformation initiatives Experience operating in both entrepreneurial and highly regulated environments Familiarity with customer acquisition, conversion funnel, and growth analytics What’s in it for you?
