Location: Beaver Creek, Toronto – Hybrid

As a Dividend Event Specialist, you'll join our Dividend Disbursements team, playing an important role in ensuring shareholder payments are processed accurately and delivered on time.

A role you will love

As a Dividend Event Specialist, you'll support the end-to-end delivery of dividend payment events and work closely with internal teams to ensure payments are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines. 

A typical day may include:

  • Running and scheduling reports to support payment events and operational activity. 
  • Preparing dividend payments and related administrative documentation. 
  • Creating client funding letters and processing internal money movements and wire transactions. 
  • Coordinating with internal teams including tax, shareholder services, and other operational support functions to ensure successful delivery of payment events. 
  • Preparing and reconciling payment data while maintaining accurate documentation and records. 
  • Managing multiple priorities while meeting service level commitments and quality standards. 
  • Supporting the team with time-sensitive requests and operational projects as needed. 
  • Success in this role is measured by the quality and accuracy of your work, stakeholder satisfaction, and your ability to consistently deliver against operational deadlines. 

What will you bring to the role?

Key skills and experience include:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with internal stakeholders. 
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute as part of a team. 
  • Comfort working with systems, reports, and operational processes. 

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel. 
  • Exposure to payment processing, financial services operations, reconciliation activities, or accounting principles.
