The Opportunity Turn data into insight that drives real decisions. As an Intermediate FP&A Analyst, you will partner with leaders, Finance Business Partners, Data Analysts, and Operational teams to turn financial and operational data into actionable insights that support sound business decisions. You’ll play a key role in helping stakeholders understand financial performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions that impact the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building relationships, and bringing clarity to complex financial information. What You’ll Do Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting by identifying key trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities Analyze monthly and annual results, including variance analysis Translate data into clear, actionable insights, communicating the story behind the numbers Build and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards, integrating financial and operational data Contribute to financial models and analyses (including cost-benefit and unit cost analysis) to support planning and decision-making Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Data teams Support Finance Business Partners with analysis and reporting Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and reporting What You Bring 5+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, actuarial, or a related field, with demonstrated progression in analytical responsibilities Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement Nice to Have Advanced Excel skills Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools Exposure to Snowflake or similar data platforms Experience in insurance or financial services Progress toward a CPA or similar designation #LI-VS1 #CBM1 This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization / Ce poste est actuellement vacant au sein de notre organisation. Pay Range: 61,221 - 68,873 CAD The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
