Accounting & Administration Lead - PT
About the role
Job Overview Meaty Eats & Meaty Meats is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & Administration Lead to support the day-to-day accounting, administrative, and office operations of our growing business. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and organization of financial records, supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, completing reconciliations, maintaining employee and supplier documentation, and providing administrative support across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping business operations efficient, organized, and compliant while serving as a central point of coordination for records management, correspondence, office administration, vendor support, and internal administrative processes.
Main Duties Process supplier invoices and support Accounts Payable activities Assist with customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable follow-up. Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations. Maintain digital and physical filing systems. Manage supplier, customer, payroll, and HR records. Coordinate correspondence, email, phone inquiries, and administrative follow-up. Support meeting coordination, meeting minutes, office supplies, and vendor relationships. Assist with purchase orders, receiving records, and general office administration. Perform other related duties and administrative responsibilities as assigned to support business operations and organizational objectives
Requirements Experience in accounting administration, office administration, AP/AR, bookkeeping support, or reconciliations. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, word processing, calendars, and digital filing systems. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Experience with Xero, Lightspeed, BambooHR, or Wagepoint is an asset. Experience in food retail, manufacturing, specialty retail, or a small-business environment is an asset
Working Conditions Monday to Friday, 10:00 am- 3:00 pm, 25 hours per week Modern-progressive, tech-savvy office environment
