The Flint Hills Technical College Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to serve as the Executive Assistant / Clerk of the Board. This position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Foundation and serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Advancement and Foundation staff. This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Advancement and Foundation staff. Oversee and manage the Foundation scholarship program. Perform basic accounting and bookkeeping functions, including maintaining accurate financial records. Schedule, prepare materials for, and record minutes of Foundation Board of Directors meetings. Assist with planning and coordinating Foundation events, alumni activities, and donor engagement opportunities. Process incoming gifts, maintain donor records, and ensure timely acknowledgment of contributions. Maintain confidentiality of donor, financial, and Foundation-related information.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education. Minimum of five years of administrative assistant experience required. Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge and experience required. Experience working in a fundraising setting and knowledge of donor databases preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time position: 40 hours per week, 12 months per year Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
