JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose To leverage data analysis and market insights to optimize costing and pricing strategies, ensuring profitability and competitive pricing. To develop cost models, analyze market trends, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support data-driven pricing decisions and contribute to Sysco's financial success. Responsibilities Build and maintain complex costing models, using statistical analysis and forecasting techniques to predict future costs, optimize resource allocation, and support pricing decisions. Conduct cost scenario analysis and simulations to assess the impact of changes in raw materials, labor, or production processes on overall costs and profitability. Proactively identify opportunities for price optimization, such as price increases, discounts, promotions, and product bundling, to maximize revenue and profitability. Track and analyze the performance of pricing strategies, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
