To fulfill Pattison Agricultures' vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Retail Finance Manager to cover one of our four Regions. This position will report to the Director of Retail Finance and will be based out of any of our locations.

Responsibilities

This individual's responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance to the sales department through support with the sales finance process, finance training and quoting
  • Work with the Director of Retail Finance to connect with Branch/Sales Managers and Territory Manager's to ensure calls have been made based on finance leads provided
  • Maximize CERES Revenue Enhancement opportunities by driving sales team engagement and focus on JDF Loan Origination Fees, JDF Compensation, Sentry Insurance, JD PowerGard™ Protection, and Dealer Service Agreements
  • Interact directly with Territory Managers and customers, providing advice and offering financial solutions to meet the Customers' needs
  • Support the Director of Retail Finance to ensure that market share is met with JDF and outside lenders
  • Conducts lien searches on incoming trades
  • Assist with Lease Maturities
  • Prospecting potential financing needs for our customers, including non-John Deere
    product financing needs; review non-John Deere program
  • Be informed on competitive and inline programs as well as market development
  • Assembles documentation to complete the finance process

Requirements

This would be an ideal position if you have:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel
  • The ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as necessary
  • A Business, Commerce or alternate related post-secondary education, or 3-5 year's work experience in an equipment finance background
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in Finance related roles (would be preferred)
  • Previous experience in the Agriculture Equipment industry (this would be considered an asset)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customers and/or other employees
