We are seeking a Bilingual Claims Representative to join our growing team. This role will be responsible to perform the initial claim review for an assigned line of business in accordance with KPI’s, TAT, certificate, and policy provisions.

\n What you will do\n

  • \nAnswer customer inquiries. You will respond to inbound telephone calls from customers regarding claim status and/or request for claim forms.
  • \n
  • \nProcess customer requests. You will respond to questions regarding claims, eligibility verification, and payments. You will review supportive documentation, benefit forms, and certificates.
  • \n
  • \nStay updated on company policy. You will acquire and maintain the knowledge of company policies, their features and benefits, policy contracts, provisions, processing procedures, and government regulations so that you can provide the most accurate information to calling customers.

\n What you will bring\n

  • \nThe communication skills. You have professional fluency in English and French with exceptional written and verbal skills. You can remain calm during times of stress, conflict, or emotionally heavy details. You are comfortable communicating by phone or email with customers, internal teams, and other professionals.
  • \n
  • \nThe experience. You have experience interacting with customers in a claims service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • \nThe technical skills. You are capable of using a computer and can work on the Microsoft Office Suite. You will also learn to work with the preferred company software. A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • \n
  • \nThe drive. You are self-motivated to deliver the highest quality experience to customers. You have the initiative to meet personal and company goals through hard work, and you can encourage other members of your team to do the same.
