Purpose
As our Senior Manager Digital Identity Global Transaction Banking (GTB), you will help lead our multi-year Customer Identity Access Management modernization program. This role is accountable for the Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Governance and Administration space. These transformational priorities will deliver outcomes for a unified and enhanced authentication experience which includes single-sign on (SSO) to our partner channels. Your role will bring together stakeholders to integrate technology across multiple channels, business groups, geographies and customer segments and ensure alignment with business goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop an enterprise strategy for Identity and Access Management while ensuring scalability, dependability, flexibility and security for ScotiaConnect 1.0.
  • Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of user identification, Access, Governance and Audit Management Framework that ensures a comprehensive, requirements-driven approach to planning, implementation, administration, operations, measurement, and communication.
  • Work across teams to document and share authentication best practices for clients.
  • Ensure overall IT strategy and architecture plans, corporate security and operational standards are translated into customer solutions for authentication.
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the authentication platform.
  • Identify and validate business solutions for access management for digital channels (web & mobile).
  • Partner closely with Technology, Identity Management, Fraud, Security and Business teams to lead product development efforts.
  • Define security features and standards (Auth0) across all devices e.g. OTP, SMS, Voice etc.
  • Work closely with digital fraud prevention to reduce risk for bank and its customers through enhanced authentication protocols.
  • Conduct pre-release ceremonies which could include sprint reviews, demos, showcases to certify the release as production ready.
  • Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance).
  • Be the first point of contact to identify, manage and resolve requirement questions, dependencies, issues and risks.


What You'll Bring:

  • Education at the bachelor or master level in Computer Science or equivalent technology related experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital product management with specialty in digital access and identity
  • Several years of experience in digital payments industry either for consumers, businesses or public authorities
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital payment products
  • Ability to think strategically while still being comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
  • Excellent knowledge and relevant experience in security domains related to Identity and Access Management and Operations.
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve work issues with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Strong experience in product development, agile processes and project management
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) and good interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors
  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions
  • Proven track record of managing risk and controls
  • Experience in online payments including digital wallets and money movement
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience with Auth0 an asset
