The Opportunity

The Tech Risk-SAP GRC team within EY's Risk Consulting domain is looking for dynamic individuals in the SAP Internal Controls space. These professionals will know how to help clients identify, design, implement and extract value from their SAP solution and supporting business processes. You will help clients make 'better decisions' and work with them on their most important challenges relating to:

  • Internal controls, both IT as well as application
  • Business process controls transformation
  • Strategic risk management
  • Program and project risk management

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Working on SAP Internal Controls related engagements. Executing complete end to end project activities ranging from control design to implementation, as well as working on control review and assessment projects.
  • Supporting the delivery of SAP Internal Controls as part of large-scale SAP implementation and transformation projects a broad range of SAP technologies including but not limited to ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, BPC, MDG, BTP, newer Cloud products (Ariba, IBP etc.)
  • Supporting the delivery of SAP Compliance and Controls projects
  • Supporting the team in full cycle project risk management tasks relating to project delivery
  • Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Senior - Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in SAP Internal Controls. Manger - Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Internal Controls
  • A Bachelor's degree in information systems, commerce, accounting, computer science, engineering, business, finance and/or other related major
  • Ability to identify key ERP risks and controls, knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley readiness, controls optimization, as well as configuration of controls around security, business process and within the SAP.
  • Basic SAP security and GRC knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience in identification and evaluation of business process controls and IT General controls
  • Highly professional, with ability to work in challenging, diverse and evolving client environments.
  • Flexible with the ability and willingness to learn quickly, and leverage skills in new situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team working skills are essential.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • A passion to contribute to the growth of the practice.
  • Ability to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships.
  • Interest in the ability to apply accounting knowledge to Security and Internal Control functions within the SAP domain.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Bilingualism (English and French) would be asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, Procurement etc., as well as knowledge of SAP SOD/SA concepts.
  • Professional designation including but not limited to CPA, PMP, CRISC, CCSP and CISSP, etc.
  • Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $88,000 to $132,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
