The Process Manager- Project will be responsible for managing and/or supporting the successful rollout of Global Finance Optimization (GFO) team initiatives and/or solutions including: process analysis, mapping and re-engineering; stakeholder analysis; data analysis and manipulation and; supporting change management activities such as participant/user training, project communications; and business readiness activities. The Process Manager- Project will succeed by obtaining, documenting, and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Global Finance Processes. A critical success factor in this role will be the ability to establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders and stakeholder groups (e.g. Business and IT). The Process Manager will play a key role in ensuring stakeholders feel comfortable incorporating new processes / procedures / solutions into their businesses' operating activities.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead/Facilitate working sessions with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in the design of 'To-Be' process flows and provide support on the rollout
  • Responsible for alignment of business processes/requirements with different workstreams
  • Working with BA's on work assignments and deliverables
  • Support in testing strategy, test cases and results
  • Leverage various methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, lean) and best practices within the industry to design a 'To-Be' process and strategy that balances customer experience, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist with change management activities including stakeholder communications and user training
  • Practical project management knowledge (e.g. Agile) and experience working on projects that follow the software development life cycles (SDLC) would be an asset.
  • Engage and/or participate in continuous interaction with Project Sponsors and Leads within Global Finance to ensure a clear understanding of their objectives and requirements.
  • Ensure that solutions proposed, plans and initiatives are supported in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services industry and process management
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in creating process flows and process mapping
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as member of a team
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with tight deadlines, solve complex problems, and balance conflicting priorities
  • Business process management certification is highly desirable (Six Sigma, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of Global Finance's operations and processes is an asset
  • Change management experience is an asset
