Major Accountabilities:

Manage projects for the Total Wealth Planning team by:

  • Managing project plans by identifying all deliverables, activities and dependencies, setting milestones and priorities;
  • Conducting needs analysis and assessing current processes through discussions with field SME;
  • Developing implementation and change management plans; and facilitating training via web-ex and conference calls;
  • Engaging partners from various business lines during project work to gain insights, feedback on current processes and recommended solutions to ensure successful deployment of the various initiatives;
  • Responding to ad hoc queries regarding projects or current processes and tracking systems

Supporting various smaller initiatives directly with Directors and Sr. Managers as required and if time permits.

  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with the Wealth Partners to promote and Support the Total Wealth Planning process by:
  • Overseeing and participating, when applicable, in regional events, projects and meetings for all SWM business lines
  • Working with local Total Wealth Managers to understand gaps in the process, review and train on salesforce and new intake process.
  • Engaging Total Wealth Managers and Field reps for skill build sessions where Financial Planning knowledge is low - process and/or software.
  • Meet frequently with counterparts in all business lines and Client Solutions to stay current
  • Build strategic relationships within the industry to maintain awareness of what is happening in the marketplace.

Manage and proactively improve the effectiveness, quality and standard of the Financial Planning Process by:

  • Driving the creation and effectiveness of tracking and reporting of wealth planning activity and results;
  • Supporting the tactical direction of the Client Solutions team through the development and ongoing analysis of key data points and working closely with colleagues to develop corporate insights;
  • Developing and refining an approach to visibly connect the activity of Senior Total Wealth Planners and Business & Family Wealth Specialists to desired business results;
  • Working closely with the SWM Business Analytics team to share relevant data in a timely manner
  • Identifying ways to automate the creation and delivery of reports to all stakeholders;
  • Developing processes around the collection, storage, aggregation, and analysis of data related to prospecting activities and client engagements; and
  • Providing commentary and insights on the monthly reporting to the leadership team.

Providing system and software support and expertise by:

  • Consult with Service Desk when issues arise with NaviPlan/Conquest Planning on an individual user basis or system wide.
  • Identify limitations and issues with NaviPlan/Conquest Planning software design based on Financial Planning knowledge and communicate through to field
  • Actively pursue and test new financial planning software in order to remain competitive

Contribute to the effective functioning of the Head Office team by:

  • Participating actively in team learning development activities and team performance achievements.
  • Building effective working relationships across the team and with various business line and corporate function contacts
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Facilitating a culture of open and honest communication
  • Actively participating and contributing to touch bases and team meetings
  • Encouraging the generation of new ideas and approaches
  • Actively share knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team members
  • Developing and executing a meaningful employee development plan

Education/Work Experience/Designations

  • University or College degree
  • Experience in the area of Wealth Management and/or Financial Services
  • Nice to have:
  • QAFP, PFP or CFP
  • Financial Planning software experience

  • Excellent knowledge Microsoft office , specifically excel and powerpoint
  • Superior time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills,
  • Attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to work as part of an interdependent team and individually when required. Works well with autonomy and is an excellent communicator in a modern, flexible work environment.
