Who we need

The Data Reporting Coordinator will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources. You will create reports and presentations that are used for informed decision making within the organization. The Data Reporting Coordinator will work closely with the Claims Administrator and the members of the Claims team to assist and drive daily administrative tasks. You will assist with daily maintenance of all required office and claims administration (filing, purging, department email box, scanning and indexing mails, mails correspondence as needed) in accordance with the certificate provisions.

\n What you will do\n

    \n
  • \nEnsure process documentation for claims procedures and internal sign-offs. These documents will provide the basis for training and new hire orientation and specific audit/compliance attestations;
  • \n
  • \nWork with legal, compliance, claims and customer service teams to ensure processes are signed-off, implemented and reviewed at least annually;
  • \n
  • \nHelp with documentation of third-party service provider’s processes in support of the Securian Canada business. This documentation will support external, partner and internal audit requirements;
  • \n
  • \nLog, coordinate and triage reporting requests and updates;
  • \n
  • \nFacilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on service level agreements, QA statistics and various claims and customer support metrics;
  • \n
  • \nAssist with providing insightful commentary on reporting;
  • \n
  • \nAid as a complimentary resource to our PCI compliance efforts for incoming customer correspondence. Specifically, you will audit all incoming correspondence via email, letter mail and fax to ensure they meet PCI requirements. All findings will be documented and compared against the findings of the primary resource;
  • \n
  • \nContribute as a central point for QA efforts and incorporate findings into an action plan;
  • \n
  • \nSupport internal compliance resources on reporting and documentation;
  • \n
  • \nAct as back up for claims administrator;
  • \n
  • \nPerforms related activities as directed and manages personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in a changing environment;
  • \n
  • \nPerform other duties as assigned.

  • \nThe education and the experience. You have a post secondary education or at least one-year work experience. You have also experience with procedural documentation.

  • \nThe skills. You are detailed oriented, and are able to work thoroughly, and accurately. You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization. You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You also possess good written and verbal communication skills.
