We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team in our Toronto office in our Healthcare, Life sciences, and Cannabis division

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a profitable book of business based on the company's objectives and individual business plans.

Your day as a Client Service Representative

  • Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for outstanding information, endorsements, or policy documentation.
  • Prepare proposals for renewals and new business.
  • Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters.
  • Work with the Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiating with Insurers and/or changes, renewals, and new business where applicable.
  • Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness and as required, note and correct errors.
  • Create abeyance and follow up for outstanding items from underwriters, markets, and clients.
  • Market own new business and renewals when necessary.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding client receivables.
  • Create and streamline processes.
  • Prepare monthly Bordereaux, where required
  • Invoice and manage receivables.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.

Our ideal candidate

  • Minimum 3 years of industry-related experience
  • Professional designation required (RIBO)
  • Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings
  • Good knowledge of Intact Broker Portal and EPIC is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
