Job Summary


The role of the Accounting Support Analyst is pivotal in assisting Compass Group Canada with the management of vendor accounts and the optimization of working capital.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Accounting Support Analyst. We'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Analyzing JDE address book data, creating reports, and offering insights to facilitate organizational decision-making.
  • Collaborating closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure financial operations' accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Recognizing chances for process enhancement, optimization, and automation within the Address Book module to boost efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
  • Offering backup support for Vendor approval and other team members when required.
  • Overseeing the administration and filing of operational accounting records.
  • Handling ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software like JDE and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
