Expression of Interest for Board Members

Det'on Cho Management LP is the economic arm of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. We are currently accepting resumes for the Board of Directors. The board is the governing body of Det'on Cho Management LP. Its function is to oversee and manage the business affairs and set the strategic direction.

As a board member you will be required to attend monthly and quarterly in-person meetings that occurs during the day normally from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, as well as special Board Meetings that may occur once or twice a year. More specifically, your duties alongside your fellow board members will include:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the President & CEO
• Review and approve plans for the company and any upcoming projects
• Review and approve governing policies

Qualifications / Knowledge:

• Knowledge of governance
• Management Skills with a background in Finance and / or Human Resources / Legal, Business or Marketing.
• Must be a Yellowknives Dene First Nation Member
• Individuals with vision, ideas and commitment to the yellowknives dene first nations business arm.
