As a Treasury Services and Payments Product Sales Specialist Manager, you are an integral part of a team that defines and configures complex solutions for key client relationships and prospect opportunities in partnership with Sales. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer by understanding their needs and communicating feedback to the Product teams.

Your role is performed in concert with key Sales, Banking, Product, Credit, Implementations, Service and Operations partners. This role requires a deep understanding of all Treasury Services products across Payments, Receivables, Liquidity and Channels. You will be responsible for maintaining a strong sales pipeline and managing deals from prospecting through to revenue recognition of closed deals to target. You will partner with stakeholders on deals


Job Responsibilities
  • Management of new and existing deals by coordinating with Sales, product partners and other stakeholders to develop solutions, understand/build pricing and profitability models, support RFP/RFI submissions
  • Leads solutioning and the adoption of existing and upcoming products and capabilities while defining and configuring optimal solutions that address clients’ needs and objectives
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on Treasury Services and Payments products and capabilities with a deep understanding of our clients’ needs and current industry trends
  • Strong and effective proposal and presentation preparation to communicate and persuade internal, external stakeholders, and transaction execution.
  • Supports Sales in pricing, pipeline planning, account planning, and upskilling the Sales team on product knowledge by collaborating on training and collateral materials
  • Engages with client teams to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap
  • Coordinate onboarding and help manage seamless integration with implementation partners.
  • Meets and exceeds assigned revenue goals
  • May represents the bank at conferences, internal client and peer events; may attend client roundtables, strategy white-boarding, workshops, etc., as required
  • Contributes to marketing strategy and communications plans
  • Availability to travel nationally and globally when permitted
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • 5+ years of relevant experience cash management/treasury management sales, product management, product marketing, or related field
  • Experience working in a sales cycle and engaging with clients on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge and experience selling emerging payment solutions or treasury solutions particularly within a bank or FinTech provider
  • Good understanding of the banking industry and payment network in Canada
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Cash Management/Treasury Services landscape
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently with keen attention to follow-up coordination
  • Experience modifying preconfigured solutions to meet complex problems
  • Prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to understand complex technical details
  • Knowledge of Canadian Payments rules and regulatory requirements
  • Be a collaborator and engaging communicator with the ability to inspire, influence and align various cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to travel 30%
