The Role

GeoComply seeks a skilled and motivated Senior Finance Manager to support our Growth organization. In this highly business-facing position, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and decision-making to support the company's core growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities include 1) conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, 2) recommending pricing structures for new B2B customers, 3) evaluating the financial impact of proposed contract terms for new customer deals, and 4) managing a marketing budget aimed at acquiring new customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, deal evaluation, and market research, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in the technology sector. Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Growth team to structure deals that maximize value for both the company and new customers.
    • Support client negotiations with robust financial analysis to ensure favorable terms and pricing while mitigating risks.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
    • Provide strategic insights to guide decision-making and inform business development strategies.
    • Evaluate marketing investment opportunities and assess potential return on investment (ROI) to optimize marketing spend.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop financial models and forecasts to support marketing strategies and initiatives.
    • Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
    • Identify and assess financial risks associated with business development activities, including customer contracts, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align financial goals with business objectives and drive cross-functional initiatives.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to business development teams to facilitate decision-making and execution of strategic initiatives.

Who you are

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • 8+ years of tech industry experience in corporate finance or other relevant fields.
    • Proficiency in conducting financial analysis including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

Bonus Points

    • Master's degree or equivalent
    • Prior Experience in one of our core industries (e.g. Gaming, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services)
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization software, to extract insights from financial data and inform strategic decisions.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate financial information and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including non-financial stakeholders.
    • Able to work independently with minimal direction
    • Able to build deep partnership across varied functions and geographies

$128,000 - $192,000 a year
The typical salary range for this position is from $128,000-$192,000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including, your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
