Our Corporate Accounting Team in Vancouver, BC is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Corporate Accountant to join us as an integral member of the team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, take initiative, be open to new challenges, have excellent communication skills, and want to develop an accounting career.
As a member of the Corporate Accounting Team, you will develop an understanding of our operations and policies and become a subject matter expert (“SME”) in a specific area of our business. As a SME, you will become the go-to person for financial information in that area, including training other accountants and preparing reports for senior finance team members. We believe in continuous employee development and will rotate you through various SME areas once you master a SME. The result is a well-rounded professional experience that is promotable to other roles within finance. You will also be the lead for undertaking projects and process improvements within your SME and strive for continuous improvement and streamlining of existing processes.
