Vision Talent's client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with proven Wealth Management experience to join their growing data engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the Wealth Management business. PLS NOTE: that expert level Snowflake AND deep domain experience in Wealth Management are both required for this role. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in cloud-based data engineering with a deep understanding of Wealth Management data, investment platforms, advisor workflows, client reporting, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and engineering teams, you will build scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines that support critical business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data integration processes, and cloud-native data solutions. Build and optimize enterprise data warehouses and data lakes using Snowflake and modern cloud technologies. Develop high-quality ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and deliver data from multiple internal and external sources. Partner with Wealth Management business teams, data analysts, and technology stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Support the evolution of enterprise data capabilities, including self-service analytics, reporting, and data product initiatives. Design and implement data integrations using modern APIs and cloud-native services. Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across enterprise data assets. Monitor data pipelines and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues. Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and development standards. Contribute to technical design discussions and promote engineering best practices across the team. Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance where appropriate. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer delivering enterprise-scale data solutions. ****Demonstrated experience within Wealth Management, supporting investment management, advisor platforms, portfolio reporting, client data, or wealth operations. Strong understanding of Wealth Management business processes, financial products, and data domains. 5+ years of hands-on experience building cloud-based data solutions. Expert experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies. Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lake solutions. Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, Amazon S3, Snowflake, and Power BI. Strong SQL development skills and programming experience using Python and either Java or Scala. Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, EKS, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and SageMaker. Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise data sources. Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and version control. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
