SENIOR UNDERWRITER, PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS - MONTREAL The successful applicant will be passionate, and results oriented with the capability to build upon and foster relationships with new and existing broker clients. Specifically, the successful applicant will be responsible for both marketing and underwriting our suite of professional liability programs and online products. Accountabilities: Managing a portfolio of miscellaneous errors and omissions, medical malpractice, technology E&O, and cyber liability programs. Managing a portfolio of online and digital professional liability products and programs. Maintaining and building broker relationships, particularly within the technology, cyber, and professional lines space. Evaluating technology, cyber, and professional liability exposures and determining appropriate terms, conditions, and pricing. Learning new E&O, Tech E&O, and Cyber product lines and coverages as they are developed. Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant technology, cybersecurity, and professional liability industry trends and their impact on the products offered. Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience underwriting specialty lines (E&O, Medical Malpractice, or Cyber/Technology preferred). Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in communication, business, or insurance preferred.
