Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll work across operational and financial data to analyze profitability, improve reporting, challenge billing processes, build dashboards, and provide financial insights to senior stakeholders. Competitive salary of $75,000–$80,000 3 weeks of vacation Hybrid work environment with 2–3 days per week in the Mississauga office Group benefits after 3 months RRSP contribution program after 1 year Opportunity to work directly with operational VPs and senior leadership High-visibility role where your analysis and recommendations can directly influence business decisions Operational Financial Analyst Responsibilities Prepare and analyze profitability reports to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement Extract, organize, and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data from multiple sources Provide financial analysis and recommendations to operational VPs to support business decisions Build and maintain dashboards to track key financial metrics, performance, and trends Analyze billing data and challenge processes and associated numbers to ensure accuracy and efficiency Review weekly hours and track unbillable items, identifying and resolving financial discrepancies Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial modelling Complete month-end accounting processes and support the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets Partner cross-functionally to gather financial information and provide actionable business insights Communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Travel approximately one week per quarter, as required Operational Financial Analyst Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Approximately 3 years of operational finance experience CPA designation completed or currently in progress Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling Experience with profitability analysis and large datasets Strong dashboard creation and data visualization skills Experience with financial systems and BI tools; exposure to AI tools is considered an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within one of our client organizations or within our own.
