We are currently recruiting for the position of Treasury & Accounting Administrator. Position Overview As a Treasury & Accounting Administrator, you will provide quality service to internal members and contribute to the success of StellerVista through the achievement of department service goals. On a rotational basis, you will provide administrative support in the execution of either treasury-related or accounting-related functions and perform any duty of either rotation as assigned. Key treasury functions include calculating daily investment and borrowing requirements, preparing investment spreadsheets, maintaining, and updating exchange, interest, and other rates, administering a variety of programs including sold and securitized mortgage pools, and syndicated loans. You will process a variety of month end accounting functions for StellerVista subsidiary companies, and those related to treasury and investment activities. Key accounting functions include regular balancing and reconciliation activities for system generated transactions, cashbook, rejected items and ATM/POS transactions, incoming service charge reversals, branch voucher, journals and posting sheets as well as incoming clearing transactions. You will further conduct month end balancing and reconciliation functions including Central 1 account reconciliations, registered plans, and a diverse range of GLs. You will also administer Accounts Payable. This position is a bargaining unit position Schedule Description Permanent Full-Time with the following schedule: Monday: 8:00am – 2:45pm Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:45pm Wednesday: 8:00am – 4:45pm Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm (37 hrs./week) Wage scale - $28.76 - $33.80 per hour Education and Experience Do you have a Secondary school diploma with a minimum of approximately 3848 hours (2 years) experience in a member Service and/ or accounting related role with a financial institution? OR Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
