Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance Work Location: Liberty Village, Toronto Salary Grade: 29 Salary Range: $56,000 to 60,000 CAD Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Work Arrangement: At least four (4) days/week onsite, 37.5 hours a week The Finance Analyst supports the Finance team through joint venture and hybrid deal reporting, account reconciliations, physical sales reporting, month-end support, tax fillings and recurring financial analyses. The role is responsible for accurate and timely preparation of partner reporting, supporting schedules, and reconciliations, while maintaining clear documentation and escalating irregular items to the Senior Manager, Finance. The Role The Finance Analyst will: Prepare third-party label reporting, statements, and supporting schedules in accordance with contractual agreements. Monitor reporting and filing deadlines to ensure timely, accurate submissions and compliance with agreement requirements. Prepare journal entries, recurring billing and allocation schedules, and support month-end close activities. Perform monthly account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding reconciling items. Maintain complete and accurate supporting documentation for audit, compliance, and review purposes. Produce recurring sales, product mix, and financial reporting to support business planning and accounting processes. Generate periodic reports using finance systems and provide ad hoc analysis and reporting support to Finance leadership. Prepare and submit indirect tax filings, supporting reconciliations, and corporate tax reporting schedules. Support statutory reporting requirements and maintain documentation related to filing obligations, assumptions, exceptions, and supporting evidence. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement. Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, or financial analysis Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, or related field CPA designation, active progress towards CPA, or active pursuit of another internationally recognized accounting designation such as ACCA, ACA, CA, CMA, or an equivalent designation is an asset. Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large volumes of financial data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet recurring deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy when working independently. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to a variety of stakeholders. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset. Experience with joint ventures, distribution arrangements and royalty accounting is an asset. Experience in the media, music, entertainment, or content distribution industry is an asset. Requirements

Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, or financial analysis, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Advanced Excel, strong analytical and organizational skills, accuracy, and clear communication are required; CPA progress or another accounting designation, ERP experience, and music or royalty accounting experience are assets.
