Role Overview: Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 14-month contract. In this high-impact hybrid role (4 days onsite, remote Fridays), you will drive daily financial operations, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and optimize core business processes while collaborating closely with executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: Operational & Financial Oversight: Lead day-to-day financial reconciliations, reporting deliverables, and routine operational workflows to ensure seamless business execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Risk, Compliance, and Strategy teams to standardize processes, align with financial industry standards, and mitigate operational exposure. Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement: Analyze complex operational datasets to identify emerging trends, resolve variances, and design actionable process improvements. Initiatives & Audit Support: Drive platform enhancements, support business expansion initiatives, and manage end-to-end documentation for internal and external audit requirements. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for complex operational inquiries across business units. Qualifications & Experience: 5–7+ years in financial services (Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Fintech) CPA designation is required Advanced MS Excel (complex formulas, modeling, pivot tables) & hands-on experience with MS Dynamics or Navision Strong data reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, and process optimization skills Exceptional written/verbal communication; proven ability to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment If you’re interested in discussing this role further, send your resume to Hira Khan at hira.khan@randstad.ca
