Lead financial close and reporting, review accounting records and reconciliations, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. Remediate audit findings, strengthen controls across cash, payments, payroll, inventory, and working capital, and provide hands-on leadership to stabilize the finance team and its processes.

Oversee accounting operations and an eight-person team, prepare timely financial statements under Canadian accounting standards, and lead month-end and year-end close processes. Manage budgets, forecasts, internal controls, audits, regulatory compliance, and process improvements.

Develop budgets and forecasts, prepare and analyze financial reports and KPIs, and investigate variances, costs, margins, and business performance. Build financial models, support financial close and consolidation, advise managers and leadership, and improve reporting tools and processes while contributing to cost optimization and operational efficiency projects.

Lead the accounting team and oversee financial reporting, forecasts, controls, and accounting policies while safeguarding company assets. Analyze financial results, advise management on business opportunities and risks, liaise with external auditors, and support operational and capital projects.

Support the Senior Controller in managing accounting operations, leading month-end and year-end close, preparing financial statements and management reports, and maintaining compliance and internal controls. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, ERP reporting, and business partnership, while serving as a backup to the Senior Controller across the specified operations.
