Review alternative mortgage applications, verify supporting documents, and make sound decisions to approve, decline, or refer complex files while balancing customer needs and credit risk. Manage applications through funding by coordinating with brokers, sales teams, and partners, following up on conditions, and meeting service, productivity, and compliance standards.
Remote · Canada
Mortgage Underwriters will be responsible for reviewing documentation and underwriting mortgage deals from across the country, working closely with the Sales team and brokers to find effective customer solutions. Key tasks include underwriting complex loans, executing clear communication regarding the mortgage process, and liaising with partners on file status updates.
