RESPONSIBILITIES Delivering a high-end, white glove service to our clients Be a leader in your team, developing and implementing holistic financial plans for clients Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to clients Maintain and update client records and financial portfolios Working with your team to manage daily client communications and requests Leading client meetings, identifying opportunities and educating clients on strategies Stay current with industry regulations, tax laws, and financial planning strategies Conduct research on financial products, market trends, and investment opportunities Contribute to the firm's marketing and business development efforts Other relevant or related responsibilities as required by Ocean 6 QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent of related work experience. Completion of, or close to, CFP certification, withrelevant industry certifications (e.g. PFP, CFA, CSC, LLQP) a bonus. 3+ years of experience in financial services as a Lead Advisor (corporate financial planning experience is preferred). Experience mentoring, managing, and elevating junior advisors or support staff. You know how to rally a team around a shared vision. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. You are a systems-driven professional who can successfully focus on client files, deadlines, and high-touch client needs consistently You see the big picture, looking beyond isolated financial products like investments or insurance to evaluate a client’s entire financial ecosystem COMPENSATION The base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, commensurate with your depth of experience and qualifications. The final interview will include an assignment to showcase your knowledge and experience. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships. Strong Finance and Investments knowledge, including portfolio construction, risk management, and market analysis. Experience in Retirement Planning, including income strategies, tax-efficient withdrawal plans, and long-term wealth preservation. Relevant professional designation (e.g., CFP, CFA, CPA, or equivalent) and post-secondary education in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable advice. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical standards. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and mentor junior team members. Experience in advisory roles supporting diverse industries or entrepreneurial clients is an asset.
