What you need to bring: We’re a team within Finance responsible for helping Lightspeed understand what is driving our business today, where it is going next, and what we should do about it. This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, data and business analysis, with exposure across Lightspeed’s software, payments, capital and hardware businesses. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous or unowned problems; Sound financial modelling skills, including building driver-based models and three-statement analysis from the ground up; Experience working with data directly, including SQL or an equivalent querying tool and a BI platform; Strong business curiosity and the ability to dig into a number until you understand what is really driving it; The ability to challenge assumptions and numbers while building trusted relationships with business partners; Strong communication skills, with the ability to make complex analysis clear and actionable for both finance and non-finance audiences; Experience working in a complex business with multiple revenue streams or business models. You’ll enjoy: A flexible work environment that empowers you to do your best work A culture that celebrates performance The chance to make an impact in a team that’s big enough for career growth, but lean enough to make your voice heard Career-defining opportunities Plus benefits designed to keep you happy, healthy and fulfilled.
