The National Credit & Treasury Manager is a senior leader responsible for managing the credit & treasury functions of the organization. Reporting to the Finance Director this role will lead strategic initiatives focused on strong internal & external business partnering, corporate liquidity, credit risk management, and organizational compliance.This role will support the 8 operational divisions across Canada, covering construction equipment, mining equipment, material handling, mobile and crawler cranes, earthmoving, maritime cranes, concrete, aerospace, transportation systems, service operations, parts distribution, rentals, and major projects. Responsibilities Credit Management Lead organizational credit risk strategy & policy Review credit portfolio exposure, credit limits, payment terms, and coordinate collection efforts Develop financing and payment solutions working closely with the divisional sales teams and customers Manage critical department metrics and oversee key national accounts Treasury Management Lead short and long term cash flow forecasting tied to the 5 year organizational business plan and reported to the global parent entity Review daily cash postings, bank reconciliations, and working capital limits Support short and long term inventory, investment, and operational budgeting process tied to cash flow management Lead multi-currency foreign exchange hedging strategy Review & approve payment transactions under the corporate signature policy Business Partnering & Leadership Lead the Credit Manager & supporting collections team, providing mentoring and professional development opportunities Engage divisional leaders and operational sales teams before and after customer transactions Visit key national customer accounts and corporate branches, developing a strong understanding of operational and market needs Manage all banking relationships, optimizing corporate financial agreements and financing solutions for customers Compliance and Internal Controls Lead compliance aligned to the corporate credit policy across the company and address any risk mitigation strategies Promote a strong internal control environment, targeting cash management, credit risk, bank covenants, and segregation of duties Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Competencies 5-10 years of proven leadership experience and independence within a credit management and treasury environment Strong technical financial and credit experience, understanding liquidity management and the full cycle collections process Ability to build short and long term financial cash flow models, sourcing inputs, assumptions, and integrating key target metrics Strong leadership and customer management abilities Diverse experience with complex customer portfolios spanning multiple products, markets, and geographic regions Ability to implement effective change management through impact & influence Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP is preferred Our Offer Competitive wages Extensive benefits with employer paid premiums starting day 1 Hybrid or remote work opportunities for select roles* Paid vacation starting at 3 weeks PLUS 6 dedicated family, health and wellness days 6% employer RRSP matching $3000 annual allowance for continuing education International training & development work opportunities for select roles* And much more! Requires 5–10 years of leadership experience in credit management and treasury, with strong technical financial and credit expertise, liquidity management knowledge, and full-cycle collections experience. Candidates should be able to build cash flow models, manage complex customer portfolios, lead change, and use ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
