The opportunity Owns the transactional finance cycle end to end — procure-to-pay on the AP side, order-to-cash on the AR side, and the banking and treasury integration that connects both to the outside world. Hands-on through design, configuration and testing, and the workstream owner of anything that touches a bank. The candidate may be required to travel to Toronto Office once in a while to participate in fit gap design sessions and testing activities. What You Will Do Own AP design and configuration: vendor master, invoice processing, three-way match, approval workflow, payment runs and payment methods Own AR design: customer master, invoice posting from Engagement Management billing, cash application, dunning, collections and credit management Own banking integration end to end — bank master data, payment file formats (EFT, ISO 20022, wires), bank statement import and automated reconciliation Design cash management and liquidity reporting scope; own treasury requirements and the decision on what sits in S/4 versus a bank platform Own Canadian payment and tax mechanics on the transactional side, including GST/HST/QST treatment on invoices and expense-related postings Lead fit-to-standard sessions for the transactional scope; document design and secure business sign-off Own test scenarios across the full cycle including bank file round-trips; support vendor, customer and open-item migration Your Qualifications 8–12 years total; 5+ in SAP AP/AR; two or more full lifecycles. Two or more full-lifecycle S/4HANA Finance implementations with AP and AR ownership Hands-on bank integration delivery — payment file generation, bank statement automation, reconciliation. This is the differentiator; many Finance consultants have never owned it Working knowledge of the AR interlock with billing from an upstream operational system Comfort working with treasury, banking partners and shared services teams Preferred Public Cloud Edition; Canadian banking experience (major Canadian bank formats and clearing); SAP Advanced Payment Management or Cash Management exposure; CPA or strong accounting depth; bilingual (EN/FR). Requires 8-12 years of experience with at least 5 years in SAP AP/AR and two full-lifecycle S/4HANA Finance implementations. Must have hands-on experience with bank integration, payment file generation, and automated reconciliation.
