We offer a comprehensive benefit package which includes: * Generous vacation time * Comprehensive medical and dental benefits * Pension Plan * Focus on employee well-being * Dedication to your learning and development * Celebrating your achievements through our employee recognition program * Supportive work environment As a Financial Planner, you will: * Provide members with investment and financial planning advice. * Consistently engage in the development and delivery of modular financial plans, using software and tools to support planning complexity. * Provide members a review of their existing comprehensive financial plans. * Provide high-level financial planning services across retirement, tax, succession, life protection, and wealth strategies. * Promote, sell and delivery of all investment products and services, including third party mutual funds. * Provide effective portfolio management, consolidating investment assets. Monitor the renewal of maturing investments. * Contribute towards organizational goals and the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals objectives through the deployment of business and tactical planning. * Work collaboratively with the branch network and Kawartha partners to help ensure members financial needs are met and member relationships are expanded. * Travel in region as necessary to support wealth strategy. Qualifications: * Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics is preferred. * A financial planner designation – Certified/Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Master Financial Planner (MFP), Chartered Management Account (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). * Minimum of 5 years delivering, monitoring and reviewing financial plans. * Advanced knowledge of all financial planning components (financial management, asset management, risk management, retirement planning and estate planning). * Active Mutual Fund License in good standing through Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC). * Deep understanding of the wealth industry, competitive landscape and economic issues. * Knowledge of financial planning software. * Demonstrated passion for financial planning and helping others. Requirements
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and a professional designation such as CFP, CLU, or CFA. Must hold an active Mutual Fund License (CSC or IFIC) and have advanced knowledge of asset and risk management.
