Job summary
Position: Java Solution Architect - Wealth management Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 12+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Solution Architect to design and lead scalable, secure, and cloud-native enterprise solutions for wealth management and financial services platforms. Key Responsibilities: 12+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and solution design. Strong expertise in designing scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, and REST APIs. Experience defining end-to-end architecture, integration patterns, security standards, and non-functional requirements. Proven experience with API-led architecture, BFF design patterns, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native applications. Expertise in application modernization, performance optimization, resiliency, and scalability design. Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, observability, and security best practices. Experience reviewing solution designs, conducting architecture assessments, and mentoring development teams. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred. Experience in Wealth Management, Brokerage, Account Opening, Trading Platforms, or Financial Services is highly preferred. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to business and leadership teams.
