About Our Client Our client is looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A to help modernize how its Finance team plans, reports and delivers business insights. This position combines financial planning and analysis with automation, systems thinking and the practical use of AI tools. It is best suited to someone with a strong finance foundation who enjoys improving processes, building reporting solutions and finding better ways to work. This is not a traditional accounting role focused primarily on journal entries and month-end activities. Responsibilities: Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and long-term planning Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial and operational reports Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow and working capital trends Replace manual Excel-based reporting with dashboards, applications and automated workflows Improve multi-entity consolidation and reporting processes Apply AI tools to financial analysis, variance commentary and management reporting Support pricing, contract evaluations and strategic business initiatives Partner with Finance, BI, Operations and IT to develop analytical and reporting solutions Evaluate new systems and tools that support the Finance automation roadmap Document new processes and train Finance team members on new tools Qualifications University degree in finance, accounting, business or a related quantitative discipline 3 - 5 years of FP&A, financial analysis or hybrid finance/systems experience Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Proficiency with Power BI, including dashboards, reports and data models Working experience with SQL Experience contributing to finance automation, reporting or transformation projects Practical exposure to AI or LLM-based tools applied to finance, reporting or analytics Genuine interest in learning and applying new technologies CPA designation is an asset but not required Power Automate, Power Query, Python, Databricks or Dynamics GP experience is an asset

Candidates should have strong modeling and planning skills, advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, and experience with finance automation or transformation; CPA and several additional tools are assets.
