Role Description The Financial Planner will provide personalized financial planning services to clients, including analyzing current financial situations, identifying goals, and developing tailored strategies. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients on site or virtual & preparing financial plans, reviewing investment and retirement options, and coordinating estate and insurance considerations. The role also involves monitoring client portfolios, updating plans as circumstances change, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. This is a full time, on-site role / potentially hybrid or virtual role [dep on qualifications and situation] that requires close collaboration with the ECIVDA team to deliver high-quality service and uphold the firm’s values. Qualifications Strong skills in Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, and Personal / Corporate Financial Planning, with the ability to design comprehensive, client-focused plans. Background in Finance and familiarity with investment products, cash flow analysis, tax considerations, and risk management. Expertise in Retirement Planning, including assessing retirement income needs and recommending appropriate savings and investment strategies. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or progress toward equivalent professional certification is preferred. QAFP is a min. Relevant post-secondary education in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language. Demonstrated client service orientation, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information. Ability to work collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients in a boutique environment.
