Are you detail-oriented and organized with a background in document management? Apply Now! Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Mail Clerk. This position involves supporting the efficient handling and digitization of documents within a busy banking environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing physical and digital files, operating scanners and photocopiers, and ensuring accuracy in document storage and retrieval, all while adhering to privacy and safety policies. Pay Rate (CAD): $17.60/hr – $19.10/hr Responsibilities Support document filing and digitization processes in a retail banking environment Prepare paper documents for digitization, ensuring they meet quality standards Operate Ricoh scanners/copiers to scan and upload documents Review digital files for accuracy and completeness Manage physical files, ensuring they are properly secured and stored in designated locations Provide daily and weekly status updates to management via email or phone Adhere to health, safety, and privacy policies, including mandatory mask-wearing when operating in open areas Collaborate with internal teams to support process improvements and operational efficiency Remain flexible in supporting various initiatives and shifting priorities Communicate proactively about issues, potential risks, and project updates Desired Skill-Set Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a document management or back-office environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Excel Comfortable operating hardware such as photocopiers and scanners Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and follow set procedures Good verbal and written communication skills Nice to Have Prior experience with document filing and digital record management Knowledge of banking or financial services operations Experience with digital document management systems Bilingual abilities are an asset BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
