Title: Senior Commercial Underwriter Salary: $95,000-$110,000 Exact Compensation May Vary based on several factors Vacancy Status: This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position Job Description: Insight Global is looking for a Senior Underwriter, Technology, Cyber & Professional Lines to play a key role in the continued growth of our specialty portfolio. This position involves evaluating and underwriting new and existing business, identifying risk exposures, and collaborating with distribution partners to develop effective risk transfer solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge of Professional Liability, Technology, and Cyber Insurance products, contributing to sustainable portfolio growth and underwriting excellence. Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience, ideally including at least 3 years at a senior level. - Experience across Professional Liability (PL), Cyber, and Technology is preferred; however, candidates with strong Cyber and Technology only experience will also be considered. - Demonstrated experience with both renewals and new business. - Strong broker relationship management and business development skills, including the ability to establish new brokerage relationships and build a strong network. -English/French bilingualism is required, as the role is based in Montreal. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.

At least five years of underwriting experience is required, ideally including three or more years at a senior level, with experience in both renewals and new business. Professional Liability, Cyber, and Technology experience is preferred; strong Cyber and Technology experience may also qualify, along with broker relationship and business development skills and English-French bilingualism.
