The Compliance Branch of the Tax Compliance and Benefits Division supports career development, diversity and inclusive workplace strategies. Your knowledge of various tax statutes and legislation is a transferable skill that will aid in your success in the auditor role. Successful completion of one of the following is required: (1) Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the CGA Program, OR (2) all courses in the CMA Pre Professional Program, OR (3) a recognized university degree or college diploma, including courses in Introductory Financial Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and either Cost Accounting or Management Accounting.
Candidates selected for an interview will be asked to provide proof of designation/academic qualifications. Candidates will be asked to clearly indicate on their transcripts which of their courses meet the position's academic requirement. Candidates who obtained their qualifications outside Canada will be asked to provide proof that these qualifications are recognized as equivalencies in Canada.
Note: Periodic overnight travel throughout North America is required.
