The Opportunity: As an Investment Counsellor, you are the voice of FIA. You will partner with our internal portfolio decision-makers, auxiliary research teams, client service associates, and renowned sales team to give our clients the best service possible. You will report to your group manager whose previous experience in the role will assist you in navigating client relationships and provide personalized career development. This position is located in Sydney. The Day-to-Day: Be the heart of our FIA, build trusting relationships with our clients Educate clients on our top-down portfolio strategy, their investments and important market events Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis to review their asset allocation and ensure we're on the right track toward their long term financial goals Rely on our sales team to gradually build your roster of high-net-worth clients Your Qualifications: 5+ years of experience creating and building new client relationships and instilling trust within the investment industry (RG146 strongly preferred) or completion of studies meeting RG 146 standard Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand asset management industry, regulations and procedures University degree, suitable graduate diplomas or equivalent combination of experience Yield a thoughtful consultative approach with an emphasis on client focus Why Fisher Investments Australasia: At Fisher Investments, we work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe by ALWAYS putting clients’ interests first. What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires 5+ years of experience building client relationships in the investment industry and a university degree or equivalent. Knowledge of Australian/New Zealand asset management regulations and RG146 certification are strongly preferred.
