Role Description This is an internship role at EQ Capital Partners for an Investment Banking Analyst for current post-secondary students in the fields of finance. The Analyst will be responsible for financial modeling, creating marketing materials, due diligence, and ad hoc analytical support for investment banking activities. The Analyst will also support internal research initiatives, including evaluating and benchmarking analytical tools, reviewing financial outputs for accuracy, and contributing to the development of internal processes and frameworks. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our downtown Toronto head office, with flexibility for remote work on remaining days. Qualifications Post-secondary student studying in the field of finance in a university program Financial modeling and analytical skills Strong skills in creating marketing materials Ability to do cold outreach, calls, and follow up with prospects and clients Experience in due diligence and finance Knowledge of investment banking principles Strong attention to detail and quantitative abilities Comfort working with new technologies and analytical platforms Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
